Sampling Systems

DPM System Purge and Continuous Needle Purge Configuration (A7)

The ability to purge the sample point ensures optimal retrieval of a representative liquid sample. The DPM type sampler in system purge configuration allows product to flow continuously through the sampler ensuring a fresh sample and finally to purge the needle assembly continuously before and after sampling. Recommended maximum operating pressure is 8 bar. This liquid sampler offers one-handle operation, providing safety for the operator and zero emission.

Provide a new septum on your sample bottle. Insert the bottle, with cap and septum into the sleeve until the septum is pierced by the needles. Put the bottle retaining clip in place. A flow of inert gas purges the needle assembly and sample bottle continuously.

Turn the handle to the “purge” position, allowing a continuous flow of liquid through the sampler to ensure representative sampling. This position can be held for any required time. A flow of inert gas purges needle assembly and sample bottle continuously.

Turn the handle to the “sample” position, allowing the product to flow into the sample bottle. When the required amount has been taken, turn the handle to the “off” position.

A flow of inert gas purges needle assembly and sample bottle continuously. Remove the bottle retaining clip and pull the bottle out from the sleeve. The septum reseals automatically. A flow of inert gas purges the needle assembly and sample bottle continuously.
